I’ve started many blogs here and there, wanting an outlet and people to see me when I need a centralized space for my fashion, writing and my personal life. So here we are, third time’s a charm!
So, hi, I am Mariely De Leon, Dominican-American living in Miami, a nerd who loves fashion and video games. I loved fashion ever since I was a kid and my sister and I would spend hours creating boutique stores on drawing paper and sewing our dolls new clothes out of old socks and shirts that were too worn. I grew up with a love for fashion and chose to pursue it as my college major.
However, in the back of my mind, I had another passion brewing: writing. I always created stories in my head and was able to use them as an outlet for my emotions which I used to develop my fashion ideas more. Writing and fashion, writing as the script and fashion as the movie on the big screen.
So after years of developing my writing and pursuing a degree in fashion, I’ve decided I needed a landing page for everything Mariely, every dream and escape I have made.
